Bay Area BMXers is a one of its kind grass roots Non-Profit organization. Our purpose is to invest in training at-risk youths for State and National BMX bike races, which promotes self-reliance and economic independence.
This ultimately, positively contributes to the quality of life for youth’s challenged with economic, physical, and emotional needs in our communities. We have trained, taught discipline, and promoted positive involvement in the community.
This program will benefit kids to keep them motivated physically. In all stages of bike riding, a child needs to achieve motor planning to not only get on and off the bike, but also to master pedaling and steering. We teach discipline to maintain healthy attitudes and keep fit mentally and physically. Studies show that exercise helps kid succeed and improve in their education.
The Bay Area BMXers seek to establish a pipeline from the streets of the inner cities to a lifestyle of fitness, adventure, and fun that can be used as springboards to a professional career as a racer, a team owner, fitness trainer, or future sponsor.
